I went to see Die Walküre (The Valkyrie) by Kirov Opera under the baton of Valery Gergiev, acclaimed artistic director of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. .jpg)
Die Walküre (The Valkyrie) is the second of the four operas that comprise Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Nibelung), by Richard Wagner. 
There are totally 6 main characters who played for 5 hours. I was overwhelmed by the story and the music. 
The opera is full of human moral dilemma which makes it impossible for a clear-cut judgement. 
The Gods are too human and the human shares the glory of eternal deity.
